{Events} Shaakirah's Quinceañera

When a young lady is about to turn sixteen they celebrate with a Sweet Sixteen birthday party. It represents a girl's transition from childhood to womanhood. Latino's celebrate the same way however, it take's place when the girl turns 15 and is called a "Quince" or "Quinceañera" and involves many cultural traditions. The Quince's that I have attended have begun with a church blessing and then resumed at a venue to celebrate. It's almost as elaborate as a wedding. This Quince didn't incorporate the Church part but that did not take away from any part of this Quince!

I had the privilege of capturing this beautiful young lady's Quince and what a fun event it was!
