Definition of MATCH - noun

2. a pair suitably associated
3. a) marriage union
b) a prospective partner in marriage

This one word with several meanings all lead to the same result. Two people who are perfect for each other. Two people with a love so genuine that you can't help but feel that energy when you're with them. Lauren and Matt are definitely a "Match" made in heaven!

The stars were aligned on the night that Matt hit the send button when leaving a message on Lauren's Match profile because once they went on their first date, they both knew that there was something special about their connection. They started dating and a few months later I noticed something different about her. There was this unique smile on her face every time she spoke about him. She sparkled but not in a silly girl crush kind of way. She was in love. I always told Lauren "I think that we go through so many heartaches with past relationships so that it's easier for us to recognize "the one" who won't break your heart. It's more than just butterflies. It's different. You will get a feeling inside of you that you just can't explain. It's a different kind of love. You will just know and when you do you will want to shout it out to the world". I know it's a funny way of putting it, very fairy tale like but it was all I had to say because I knew what it felt like. It's how I felt when I was with my husband :-)

We started their session in Brooklyn with a pit stop at the Highline. We later made our way to The Cloisters at Fort Tryon Park because that was where Matt proposed.





















































They wanted to re-enact the engagement :-)
