{Portraits} Jade & Shane

Last month I had the opportunity to surprise my husband and take him on a mini-vacation to Sunny California. It was his Valentine's Day gift from me. We had such an amazing time and what made it better was that we were able to spend it with our dear friends Jade & Shane.

These two lovebirds who are originally from Colorado Springs, CO have been together for 13+ years. These High School sweethearts moved from Colorado to NYC where they have resided for about 8 years. Shane landed a job in L.A. and so they relocated to the west coast where the weather is absolutely gorgeous all year round. Seriously, who wouldn't want to leave the horrible winters of NYC? They have been in California for a year now and are loving it :-) Jade is one my dearest friends and I couldn't leave Cali without shooting these two in Santa Monica Beach. A place where they love to come to watch the sunset and just relax.

Thank you Jade & Shane for being such gracious hosts and giving us the Cliff Notes version tour of Los Angeles!!! We loved it and will be back before you know it! Love you both to pieces!
